KING OF FLIP is a world-class live beat performance battle using samplers.

Competitors may use samplers of any brand or model and must perform live without using sequencer playback.

The battle is judged not only on performance technique, but also on musicality, originality, and composition, with the goal of showcasing the creativity and culture of live beat performance to the world.

1. Samplers of any brand or model may be used.

2. Competitors must perform live without using sequencer playback.

3. Sixteen competitors selected through the online qualifier will compete in a tournament to determine the champion.

Judging Criteria

Technique - Judged on timing, performance technique, and command of the equipment.
Expression - Judged on musicality, originality, and expressiveness.
Composition - Judged on the overall development and structure of the performance.
